~~Thru my eyes~~

A month flew by, in just a blink of an eye...woah, I made it rhyme! Today's the last the last day of my winter break. GARGANTUAN SIGH~!!!

I haven't taken as many pictures as before and you'll be able to see some of my holiday events posted up on someone else's blog or facebook page. Sure, you've seen the Eifel tower, the Champ avenue place and the louvre a million times repeated on Eric's or Chan Ging's blog/facebook page. But here's MY version of Paris...The city of romance, through my eyes...and of course we know, my eyes are *special*! Hee hee~

Ah...Paris, so full of culture, art and ancient history...as can be seen in this photo below...

Having had 3 meals a day of French Mcdonald's, KFC and Quick Burger for the first 3 days...we figured we were being too cheap and had a proper French dining~
Eric wasn't too happy about it...^^"

We went to the LOUVRE............
.......and learnt that the oh-so-popular-and-adorable ~smileys~ were invented by the Egyptians!

*wink*

Although it was the holidays, we thought it was GREAT that we could gain knowledge during our vacation...However, some people have odd ways of learning; imitation, for example...
bizzare....but effective~

Some.....indulge artwork in a very passionate and excrutiatingly emotional way~

In Paris, the means of transport for most is by Metro (also known as, the tube, subway, MRT in various parts of the world). We were impressed by the emphasis placed upon 'safe sex' by the Parisian transport services, but also quite disturbed as to how and where they could have possibly require the item.

* Why not...there's a discount too~*
We discovered there are very many unclothed (i.e. naked, bare) statues of both men and women around Paris. But of course, as sophisticated university students here in Paris to learn about their unique culture, we are VERY mature about it...

*they just couldn NOT resist it...*

It was a very grand experience, visiting Paris...and I can feel myself just a little wiser and knowledgable than before...such as:
1) always looking down to prevent stepping on doggie poo littered every square inch of the streets of Paris
2) avoid visiting Paris when it is below 0 degrees celcius
3) master French before going back as there are NO English signs...

Back in London, I had the chance to see how sausages are sold in markets...
...as piles of massive, squidgy, intestine looking masses...

It was always raining in London and I had a very strong urge to purchase this very creatively designed umbrella....too bad i was feeling broke then.....greatest regret of my life, not buying this lovely thing...

I went to a German Christmas market and had a German sausage of pork, beef and cheese...Yum~

This fella, had his first ever raw oyster...
Pretty obvious it's his first, as it seems like he's gonna down the shell too...
